Drink for a Cause: Restoring Christ Church

September 26, 2019 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Christ Church resides in Old City, Philadelphia just a few blocks away from The Bourse. It was the birthplace of the American Episcopal Church under William Penn’s Charter in 1695. The current building was constructed in 1744 and is recognized as the “finest early American church”.

The pronounced church steeple dates back to 1754, as one of the few structures of its kind still standing from the Colonial Era. Once the highest structure in America for 56 years, the Christ Church steeple continues to stand tall amongst Philadelphia’s landscape.

With 265 years of wear and tear, the steeple is in need of some reconstruction so that it can endure the years to come. Join us on Thursday, September 26th from 5-7pm to raise funds to restore this historic landmark!

We will have a special performance from Rubber brought to you by REC Philly.

A portion of the proceeds from select vendors will be supporting the restoration project.
