Here’s a fun fact (thanks for the reminder ESPN): “The Sandlot” was released on April 7th, 1993. That’s right… That means it just celebrated its 28th birthday!

“Heroes get remembered, but legends never die.” The Sandlot, arguably one of the best baseball movies of all time, is definitely legendary. The great thing about this movie, besides having a handful of memorable one liners, is that it’s not just about baseball or winning. Simply put, it’s a story about kids playing the game and the life lessons they learn on the sandlot. This movie perfectly captures the magic of childhood and takes us back to the carefree summers of our youth.

It’s no wonder that it was chosen by our wonderful patrons to be added as the final “There’s no Crying in Baseball” Friday night movie on April 30th from 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm. Thanks to all of you, our earlier movie dates are sold out, so don’t miss out on the final showing of this magical film! It won’t be available for-ev-ver.
